Split Tribal Fest is one of the biggest Tribal Fusion Festivals in Europe that promotes Modern style of Belly dance. This year we are hosting 7 amazing dance teachers and artists. Each artist will contribute to the event with their unique style of performance and will give you the opportunity to acquaint with different aspects of tribal fusion bellydance and music. As a dancers we take this art form very seriously and that is why this is so important to us. Join us in our sweet mission and be a part of this incredible event!

ARTISTS

Anasma is known for her unique Theatrical World Dance fusions (Theatrical Dance, Hip Hop Bellydance Liquid Fusion Bellydance, Wushu Liquid Bellydance, Salsa Bellydance) and for making her performaces meaningful and touching through storytelling, character development and aesthetic, powerful movement.

Colleena Shakti has dedicated her life to dance ever since moving to India to undergo intensive training in Odissi Classical Indian dance as well as research and document Rajasthani 'Gypsy' dance. Her style is unique and rich while combining Indian flavour to her dance.

Heather Stants and Urban Tribal Dance Company have pioneered the contemporary tribal fusion movement with their long lines and interpretive choreography.

Matthias Lauwers trains in both classical ballet and contemporary dance. His work is marked by keen precision and technique with a profound awareness of musicality and lyrical strength.

Mira Betz is a crossover dancer with 20 years of experience and in her dance style you can find it all; from cabaret, folkloric dance, perfect technique and expression, musicality and above all her own voice which is amazing. She is one of the best teachers in the world today!

Nuria Gallego trained in classical ballet, contemporary and flamenco, complemented her education with various courses of percussion, hip hop, funk, gypsy dances, dances of Eastern Europe.

Tjarda van Straten is a true pioneer of Tribal Fusion Bellydance in The Netherlands. She's a genuine dancer with a broad-minded curiosity towards fusing bellydance and well-known for her innovative choreographies.

The aim of Split Tribal Fest is to show the beauty of this ancient form of dance, to provide education about tribal fusion bellydance and to inspire everyone to freely express themselves in dance and music. :)
